📚My Favourite Books + Giveaway!📚

Hi everybody! As most of you know I am a massive bookworm! So, I decided to do this post about my favourite books! Maybe I could even turn you into one! Also make sure to stay till the end as I will be giving out my first ever Giveaway on this blog!

  1. The Girl Online Series

All of these books are so compelling and you always want more. I couldn’t pick just one so I put the whole series! Please Zoe-bring out another!

2) Jacky Daydream

I’ve never been very keen on autobiographies but this one is very different to the rest. It’s almost like you are there with Jacky growing up with her. I also loved this book because it showed you how she was inspired by writing, in a very similar way to me. This is a must read!

3) The Hetty Feather Series

All I can say is I just love Hetty! She is so confident and brave and doesn’t let anything get in the way of her path. This series is pure writing gold!

4) Wonder

This is such a sad and emotional book. I can guarantee that it will bring you to tears. It also gives you a very important life lesson-never judge a book by its cover.

Giveaway Time!

To enter this contest please make sure you are following this blog.

To win The Midnight Gang book (by David Walliams) and a Smiggle light up ball just comment down below your favourite book and you could be in with the chance of winning these fantastic prizes!

🏖A Day- Or Two- In Brighton🏖

Hello everybody! As most of you guys know, 2 weeks ago (1st April) was  my bday!🎉 I am so, so grateful for all of my presents and want to say a massive, ginormous thank you to my Mum and Dad -especially- for making this day so special!

I also realised that most bloggers did some sort of post on their bday so I thought I would kind of do a type of ‘photo diary’!

I really hope you enjoyed this post! (Please note these photos have not been edited!)

Love you all,

Izzy X

My Lovely Mum💜

Hi everybody! This post is a tribute to the most loving and caring person I know-my mum. I thought of this post as it was Mother’s Day yesterday and thought that presents (even though she did love them) are not as meaningful as words sent from the heart- and I truly do mean every word I say about my mum. You may think that I made half of this stuff up and I’ve just created some fantasy princess, but I promise I haven’t, infact she is my princess.

I decided I’d do a Top 5 things I love about my mum instead of rambling on and on!

  1. She has a heart of gold and is always as fair as she can possibly be.
  2. She is always so proud of me, even if I haven’t even done amazingly.
  3. She has such a creative mind-there are no limitations to her imagination.
  4. We think and act in a very similar manner (I definitely get lots of things from her!)
  5. She loves me just the way I am.

Thank you guys for reading this very important post ! I hope that you could maybe make one of these for your mum or daughter too!

Love you Mummy,

Izzy X

Earth Hour🌍

Hello everyone! Im so, so sorry that I haven’t been writing as much as I’d like to lately. School has been very busy and of course-weekends have too! But here’s another post that I know all of you have been waiting for…

Now Earth Hour has become quite an important thing to me, being a ‘Green Ambassador’ you go over things like this and they almost get mushed into your brain and you can never get them out. However, I do understand that most of you lovely people reading this won’t have a clue what I’m going on about!

Earth Hour is an hour (hopefully you guessed that😂) that people all around the world try to reduce the use of energy in their houses from 8.30pm to 9.30pm on Saturday 25th March. Even though this event only takes place for 60 minutes, the outcome is brilliant. There are lots of ways to do this in your household, and if you would like to do this then thank you ever so much! You could-

  • Turn off your lights and use candles instead.
  • Play some sort of board game rather than watching TV.
  • Try not to play or text or whatever on your phone. (Yes, I know it’s tempting!)
  • If you have homework or a work project, use books instead of Google.
  • Try to walk to places, but if you have an electric car, then thats fine!

Even if your aren’t able to any of these then it would be fabulous if you could share this image on any social media sites.

All this is to do is to get the word around about this amazing hour, as many people don’t have luck of knowing about it. It’s all for the future generation that someday I will be part of.

Thank you so much for reading,

Izzy X

A Dog Without A Lead…💁🏼

Hello my little corner of the internet! Have you ever been stuck for inspiration? Well, since I started this blog I definitely have been suffering from no-inspiration-osis! Let me tell you the full story…

When I started this blog I understood that it was going to take quite a while to get myself known. I pictuered me as the dog- I needed a lead.

It took me hours and hours to think of any inspiration, but then I thought,”What do I feel?” And that’s where I got my title from, I’m the dog, and I needed a lead.

Without a lead, a dog will most probably get lost and hurt. In my case, get lost in the massive- no- gigantic pool of bloggers who are hoping to make it- The Internet being its name. So that’s why it’s so important for me to find that sparkling gem in the rubbish tip. To find that something. It is coming, I have a feeling.

It would be lovely jubbly for you to follow, comment and like this post!

So long, farewell, au revoir!
